as i review the daily log i notice that certain members-who shall remain nameless for the moment- seem to be obsessed with smiting enemies and exalting friends a lot. said member or members often sign in solely for the purpose of smiting/exalting others. said members have also been known to preach to other members not to do this very thing.
i am seriously considering suspending or eliminating the karma thing all together.

I never understood the need for karma points, so I'm all for elimination.

They seem silly and, if you will forgive me (or even if you won't) - pointless.

I thought the karma points were sort of fun when used appropriately. I didn't like that they were doled out just for someone offering a different opinion, or for spite. I admit I would sign on to offset negatives if I felt they were unfounded. I believe in fairness, and finding the best in most things instead of the negative. I'd used the smite option a couple of times, and when I did I would say why.

i might consider bringing them back someday but not anytime soon. they were being abused. certain members seemed to have "karma Koalitions" whereas they would exalt each other everytime they logged in and smite mutual enemies just the same.
