I didn't say when I was leaving on my vacation since I didn't want to let others know when my house was vacant. Too bad one can't blindly trust others...
Just a thought.

well i suppose it's a good thing we don't know where you live then, right?
have fun joe! glad to see you're getting away from californy and visiting america. you'll probably see lots of american flags and run into some people who take care of themselves and aren't so worried about the red-speckled, three-toed, tree frog. enjoy!

subdjoe, I'd assumed you would cover your bases, but thought I would add my .02 cents just in-case. Funny how when one is preparing for vacation sometimes the most important details can become elusive.

BTW, is it who, or whom else?
To add: I'll bet it's whom?

No, it is 'who'. Use 'whom' when there is action - to who, with whom, from whom, etc.
Pulled into the campground just west of Omaha this afternoon, about 2 p.m. PDT. Making good time. The dog is taking to the tent well. He will hate the kennel in PA, but such is life.

Departed Omaha this morning ca. 0600 lima. Arrived Terra Haute IN ca 1930 lima. No problems so far except the dog being frightened by fireworks last night.
Saw some spectacular displays by lightening bugs in Omaha.
