Source:www.marinij.com/ci_11891598?source=most_viewedWhile you're at it you should read the comment section. One might think Marin is only liberal, but you just might be surprised. People in Marin are upset by the Canal (and Marin City) and some are getting angry over the illegals there (Canal). Yeah, right, they should check out Sonoma County huh?

Even though I totally hate chihuahua's, I never condone the beating of a helpless animal. That is just wrong.

I'm glad they're finally busting all these cock fighting rings too... It's disgusting they way they love to torture and abuse animals. Everyone's broke these days, but they found $44,000.00 cash for betting on which bird would be sliced to death first? Lovely culture...
There are tons of roosters in our neighborhood now- all kept individually in small cages until the "big day". I guess it's not a crime to have so many- But the laws need to change. Animal Control and the Sheriff know what's going on, but they can't do anyrthing about it until the actual fight. Sad...

This guy should not be allowed to have pets for the rest of his life. Animal abuse is inexcusable, whoever commits it! Regarding the "canal", I have never heard of it, but will look into it. As I read the comments, it surprised me how ornery these folks get..........and from the looks of it, we aren't far behind....sigh. I really think we could use some guidelines (shudder) Anyway, see here how some citizens are combatting the border issue: www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/03/12/border.security.cameras.immigration/index.html?iref=24hours

Cock fighting, what's the big deal? They eat the dead birds after it is over. At least they do in the Philippines. ;D
