Well I will confess that saying the demo's selected a black candidate is not totally accurate. They selected a mixed-race/(possibly) mixed-religion person. Intolerance to those different is no way a market cornered by the democratic party.
Now tiger Woods for President? I actually like the idea. He seems to make very good decisions, doesn't need the job for power based reasons, and most importantly, he likely doesn't want to be President.

Bolverk, your argument is that the Democrats USED TO BE the party of racism. They aren't anymore. For Christ sake they have a half black man as their Presidential nominee!! The Republicans now hold the racist crown. After they received the racist Strom Thurmond with open arms it's been downhill ever since. Your arguments on this one are ludicrous. You are truly a mooncalf. You are a bigot as well, calling me a racist is just wrong, and will get your butt kicked if you ever have the stones to say that "Republicans hold the racist crown" to my face. That is your bigotry, plain and simple, blanket statements like that. I am not arguing anything by the way, I only pointed out the over 150 years of racist history of the Democrat party. And their continued bigotry by trying to claim the Republicans are racist, because some racist pig from the Democrat party got mad and changed his party to get even with the Democrats. After all, your party is the only party with a known member of the KKK still in the Senate, not the Republicans.

Democrats are the "Massa's" of the black man in America today.
James Meredith desegregated the Univ. of Miss. all by himself, & was hired by the great Jesse Helms some years later.
Quotas based on race are racist on their face. That they are championed today by Democrats prove who really wants to run the plantation.
Democrats=racists.

His dad is from freaking KENYA! He's black. End of story. And whites are voting for him too in case you haven't noticed. Actually, that does not matter if it is true or not. What I really want to know is why he never talks about any whites in his family, except his mother and grandmother. He is not being very forthcoming. I have a bi-racial child, and I want a good role model for him. Not someone who is a bigot that panders to a single race and shuns his white side.

and to think america is on the verge of electing a president based mainly on his race. wow! This is a ridiculous statement! Please explain why Americans would elect a black man solely based on his race?

"What I really want to know is why he never talks about any whites in his family, except his mother and grandmother. He is not being very forthcoming."
Are you serious? So, which other white relatives would you suggest he "talk" about besides his mother and grandmother. Cousins? Aunts? Uncles? What would be the point?
Obviously you rely on wacko right wing websites and FOX News for your information. Try reading one of Obama's books, Dreams of My Father or The Audacity of Hope. Both shed light on his family and principles.

I should not have to read his book to hear the man talk about his White experience. I hear a lot about his Black experience. If he is half White, and he is, then I want to hear more about his White experience.
My son is bi-racial, and you best believe he has experiences on both sides of the issue. He will even talk about it. Is Obama afraid he will loose votes by talking about the Whites in his family? Did he never play with any of his white relatives as a child?
And as far as who I rely on for my news, I am far more widely read then you are, that is for sure.

And by the way, your bigotry is showing again. Every time you characterize Right Wingers as wacko, you are being a bigot. Where you aware of that? Bigots and racists share a common mentality of being afraid of what they do not understand. You see, I understand liberals/progressives/neosocialists/communists very well. They believe they know what is best for everyone.
And as far as Dreams of my Father and The Audacity of Hope, I will read them if you give me a copy. But I will not pay dime one into Barack's pocket nor his publisher for his books. He is no wiser then anyone I know, and there fore does not deserve to be paid for his rhetoric.

no matter how much you try to deny it, MOST blacks will admit that they are for obama PRIMARILY because he is BLACK.

Okay, but isn't it their right to vote for someone for any reason they choose? I'm sure you have many white people not voting for Obama simply because they perceive him as black. For instance, the numbers in West Virginia were staggering.
I characterize extremists on both sides as wacko. Be it Michael Moore on the Left or Ann Coulter/Michael Savage on the Right.

Is it racist for a person to vote based on the color of the candidate?
