Did you miss the sentence preceding that one? I have disagreed with democrats many times on many issues. Most recently, I disagreed with Obama's approach to bailing out the auto industry.

saunterelle, you are the one who is deluded, not me. The simple fact that we are currently getting ready to socialize one of the biggest sectors of our economy is not a delusion. And that move is being made because of the number of people who lack health insurance. However, 71 percent of the increase in uninsured is brought on by immigrants, not natives. That means the entire problem is driven by immigration, primarily illegal immigration. There is no denying it.
So, in essence, we have imported the problem. It is not a problem for people who are natives, because we understand IT IS NOT THE RESPONSBILITY OF GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR OUR HEALTH CARE. However, all the costs associated with it are born by us. We who paid our own way must now pay the way for people who are not even our people.

You are such a hypocrite. Remember, it was RONALD REGAN who signed The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, granting amnesty to over 2.7 million illegals. Yes, Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 also known as the Simpson-Mazzoli Act. It was a bi-partisan bill created by both a Democrat and Republican that included criminalizing the hiring of illegal aliens. To bad sanctuary cities, counties and states began popping up, thanks to the leftist crowd, which hampered any efforts on the part of Federal Law enforcement to enforce the act. It was also one of Reagan’s mistakes while he was President. And did I mention that the Democrats had control of the House at the time this bill was voted on? And, never forget that it was the estimate of the Democrats who controlled the census at that time that placed the illegal immigrant count at 1 million, not the 3 million that eventually got amnesty. In what way am I creating a myth?? That is exactly why Bush and the Republicans did nothing to strengthen our border. This statement is simply not true. You only have to do a cursory search on google to disprove it.You're nuts if you think that illegals are the sole cause of our problems. Take your deluded viewpoint back to the PD forums, we're smarter than that here. I am not nuts, the numbers prove the facts, if it were not for the sheer number of illegal’s and illiterate immigrants coming into this country we could focus on our social problems rather then importing the social problems of our neighbors and calling them ours. It is you who is nuts for supporting that, plain and simple, Obot. They're here, like it or not. You obviously haven't looked at what deportation would cost. Take the cost of deportation out of the Federal Money we send in foreign aide to the host country. That will easily cover the bill. And it will push those countries to enforce their borders better. Give me a break, are you really going to argue that Bush did ANYTHING to stem the flow of illegals? You are fighting an uphill battle. I refer you to the above google link. If Bush did nothing, then why are there so many stories about leftists organizations and groups getting upset about the laws he passed to protect the border. Do you even read? Neither party has shown resolve to enforce our laws at the border. You only blame the Democrats which makes you a partisan hackjob. Nowhere in this thread did I blame the Democrat party. I do blame specific individuals in the Democrat party, Napolitano, Woolsey, Pelosi, Thompson, Boxer, Feinstein and Obama. But I do not blame the party as a whole. Leftists are the problem; unfortunately for you the Democrat party is full of them. But, you are a leftist as well, so it is no surprise to me that you paint with a broad brush on this issue. There was an attempt fix the problem once. It failed. Why is it that today the loudest advocates for amnesty for illegal’s are in the Democrat party? True, there are some misguided Republicans on this issue, but not nearly as many or nearly as loud as the party of the Proletariat. Why is that?
