be advised, there was a glitch in the auto censor regarding the word/name "dick." it has been fixed and won't happen again. My apologies if I offended or upset anyone....the intention was to ensure integrity in case anyone got overheated and out of control and insinuated someone is a male organ. my bad

No sweat.
There may be kids seeking the wise counsel of their elders.
Boy, did they come to the wrong place!

Saunterelle sez....And, therein lies the only hope that the Left has remaining, that their own representatives were "duped" by a president who is said to be dumber than a post. The Commission On The Intelligence Capabilities of the United States Regarding Weapons of Mass Destruction, a bipartisan commission, stated in their final report that: - The intelligence in the President's Daily Briefing (PDB) was not "markedly different" than the intelligence given to Congress in the NIE.
- In fact, the PDB contained similar intelligence in "more alarmist" and "less nuanced" language.
[/b][/li][/ul] The report came out in March 2005. It's surprising how many people don't know what's in it. But, to read it is to realize that, at one time, everyone in Washington, except for, maybe, Barbara Lee and Dennis Kucinich, thought that Iraq was a threat. It was only when the Left saw that they might have a chance to exploit an anti-war stance, based on feedback from MoveOn and other radical left organizations, that they turned the war into a political football. The partisanship that has been displayed ever since is despicable. Another liberal myth disproved.

"I support him & U.S. bombing anybody we feel is a threat." In that case, and if Iraq was any indication, our paranoia will destroy us. Perhaps it will be your blind trust that will destroy us.

Gaff, how dare you suggest that they could have missed anything. We all know that the WMDs were supposed to be in big warehouses plainly labled with "Weapons of Mass Destruction In Here." And there was nothing found like that. So obviously there were NO WMDs in Iraq.

Should have let the UN weapons inspectors, whose job it is to find WMD's, finish their work.

Should have let the UN weapons inspectors, whose job it is to find WMD's, finish their work. And who, exactly, prevented them from doing that work?

We pulled them out before they were finished. www.cnn.com/2004/US/03/21/iraq.weapons/ "We learned from Iraq that an inspection takes time, that we should be patient, that an inspection can, in fact, work."

Should have let the UN weapons inspectors, whose job it is to find WMD's, finish their work. - Hans Blix. Or, as he's known around here, Inspector Clouseau.
- You forget, Saunterelle, that it was up to Saddam, not UNSCOM, to come clean on the WMDs. Saddam spent 7 years playing "hide the peanut" with the UN inspection teams. He was pretty good at it.
- You may not have read the Dulfer Report, that reported that Saddam had successfully taken his WMD program underground, ready to spring back up as soon as we weren't looking any more. Saddam was laughing at us.
No wonder you get smote so often!
