OK, I picked a bad example. (although there have been cases where zoning has changed and houses that had been OK, had to be torn down or not completed - even thought they were 90% finished).
In the case of homosexual "marriage" thought it was the law of the land for a few months. Very different from a local capon deciding that rape was legal within his city.
Lets say more like the Roos/ROberti law we have - it left the EEE-viiill black, scary, rifles in the hands of the people who owned them before the crappy law went into effect, but prevented others from buying them.

The Homo's who think they are married will not stand the test of: Using an Illegal Law to try to overturn a legal Law. The Supreme Court of My Country won't allow it.
