Mink- Topic: Comedy Club. Get over it. The sign is classic unitentional humor. Your reaction is the type of overzealous PC crap that is ruining this country. New Guy's "White Sale" sign should wake you up to reality. There have been white sales for as long as I can remember but I never heard anyone actually get offended by them. And here you are getting offended because a real estate company in England carries the name "Blacks"? You likely also get offended by the nicknames of sports teams like Redskins, Braves, and Fighting Irish. Am I right? Do you get offended everytime you see a big rig operated by Yellow, or a Yellow Cab cruising down the road? How about the recycling containers labelled "Green Waste"?

Crossride, there is such thing as comedy, yes....meant to amuse and make people laugh. The post in question mocks a period in time where people were abused.....in my opinion, isn't funny and lacks integrity in this forum, but maybe it's just me.

Don't get me wrong, I love to laugh and enjoy a good joke....I made my share of insensitive mockery, but then again back then I was a kid, not knowing it hurt someone next to me or 50' away that heard it.....and since this is the internet, more people are exposed and it makes us look like we are jerks to engage in this type of "humor", unintentional or not.
