True, you didn't see hockey fans out in the streets after the Penguins won the Stanly Cup.

No, but liberals do take to the streets in raucous protests after losing elections, don't they.

I wouldn't say "raucous" protests. It is an American right to protest, especially when Gore loses by the slimmest of margins as was the case in 2000. Obama's '08 victory, on the other hand, was a landslide!

Jesse Jackson 2000.
"Days Of Rage" after Algore failed to carry Tennessee.
For a landslide, see Ronaldus Magnus 1980; 1984.
For a slim margin, see Obambi 2008.

I remember some huge riots in Detroit after Red Wings cup wins. There are just idiots who act this way because they just feel like it and are waiting for an excuse to "justify" the behavior, be it sports teams winning, or losing, or... activists in Seattle?

Obama's '08 victory, on the other hand, was a landslide! Might I remind you of Proposition 8. I repeat, liberals do take to the streets in raucous protests after losing elections, don't they.
