As one who has never been overly impressed by the "entertainment" field, which I believe is doing much to make America appear to be tolerant of dirt and filth that is being taught to children, by stressing that deviation from decent "Norms" is OK as long as it's in the name of Entertainment.
I have never been impressed by the Michael Jackson family. Some people are. I believe there are good reasons for Censors. They are used in the entertainment field, but some people will censor their own surroundings for the sake of their own children. Both Vocally and Visually. God Bless Them.

I wish I could decipher your meaning, but you are way out in left field on this one too.

That's because you are a child.
No disrespect meant, but it is true nonetheless.
Learn some history, and improve your perspective.

But also, it is in some ways invalid. Not everyone knows all the pop stars. I'm correspond on line with a lady of 28 years. I get lost in the shows, movies, and stars she talks about, she gets lost in a lot of my references. ONe could say that Farrah brought in the "natural" look in hair. the windblown hair look, I guess you could call it.

The cultural output of America has tended(by the choices made by consumers worldwide)to dwarf the combined output of the rest of this planet.
I'm not surprised that a youngster would not know Charlie's Angels(never did see a single episode myself), and would encourage the youths of today to get a reference to where their culture has come from.
Frankly, rap and MTV are absent any actual artistic content, so I am skeptical of young folks ability(due to lack of exposure)to discern quality from bovine scat.

Michael Jackson's music was hardly rap, but rather more like hip hop, pop, soul, rythym & blues and even some light rock. He was not only a singer, dancer, performer who influenced dress style, but his "We are the World" single raised $50 million for the starving children in Africa. In that single are stars ranging from Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, to Harry Belafonte and Ray Charles and many other styles and stars in between.

Umm...no-one said MJ's music was rap.
Read; comprehend; then respond.
