The last 8 years (and anytime a Republican is in office), many or should I say ALL republicans rejoice in lower taxes, trying to do away with programs that help the needy, from childrens programs to mental health and seniors.
When a Democrat is in office, Republicans whine about taxes to pay for those same programs they took from when they were in office. It is easier to deem the needy as opportunists.
Granted, there are bad politicians, but to make your claim above is, false.
