oh, please, please, pretty please, do provide a credible source for this claim and throw in some context also. remember that we do have more people than most "industrialized" nations and that most other "industrialized" nations don't have a second amendment. i eagerly await your sources. meanwhile, i'll ask the conductor to strike up the marching cricket band... This should make it easy for you: this is sooooooooo lame. you little graphic shows that the vast majority of deaths from gunshot wounds if a result of SUICIDE. the one thing it DOES NOT show is how many of those deaths are a result of SELF DEFENSE. try again, skippy.

If she had not gotten a conceiled weapons permit, she would not have had a gun and the woman next to her would not have been shot and if my sister had a pecker she'd be my brother. blah, blah, blah... and if restrictions are tightened you will see many more incidents like: thisand thisand thisand this911 was unable to help these victims as well as countless others. perhaps being armed with a self-defense weapon and knowing how to use it could have. it's time to watch this video again. as ted states, we don't need the pelosis, reids, obamas, or santurelles of this world to tell us when, where, and how we can defend ourselves: if you are afraid of guns santurelle, don't buy one. but leave me and mine alone.

Nor does it show total murder rate. Gun free England - about 4.4/100k. Gun dripping US - about 5.5/100k. Not a significant difference. Why isn't there a huge difference in death rates? Because it is the thug, not the tool that kills.
IF we want to compare accidental deaths, raw numbers, as ella seems to want with that anecdote - under 1000 accidental firearms related deaths in the US/year. Over 35,000 accidental car deaths per year. So, which should be banned?
Ella believes that everyone is as impulsive and undisciplined as he is, and since he doesn't trust himself, he doesn't trust others.
