That's right Mink. Big Dog acts as if the Republicans didn't plunge us into an epic economic crisis. He ignores the fact that FDR's approach saved us from the Great Depression (Econ 101 stuff). And he perpetuates the lies about Obama's health care reform plan.

Yeah, just let the thugs bomb the crap out of us and not do anything. Oh, wait. We will apolgize. Oh wait, let's just go after the ones who attacked on on 9/11! It's about time we get our resolve, don't you agree? Try staying on topic Faux Moderator and stop hijacking the thread about taxes. Budgets, deficits and expenditures is the topic along with taxes, not war. Because we all know your bury your head in the sand tactic, so we don't need your childish and uneducated attempts to hijack another thread with your idiotic BDS about Iraq.

Just offer them a cup of sweat tea and kiss their rear. That will passify them! They have more than enough sweat, given the climate. Maybe we should take our greed and go home. This is what is is really about.....oil One more time faux moderator. Stay on topic. You are the one that deflected the topic on this thread entirely off of taxes. You bitch about others often enough, time you start setting a better example and stop spouting your Iraq BDS on every thread. We all know you are a coward already, we don't need to be reminded by you taking threads off topic with your childish rants about Bush.

Big Dog, with your explanation, it is like Bush "W" was never president......... Man, are you reading at all? Not only is that just about the stupidest response I could have read to his post, it reveals a level of ingnorance that can only be driven by BDS. He specifically pointed out the spending of the last two to three years. Personally, I say the last two years, driven by bills pushed through the House and Congress in 2007. Even the charts I posted bear out exactly what he said, but up pops Mink with her predictable and idioticlly irresponsible reply. Does she even consider the make up of the House and Senate at the time? No. Just wait until the end of this Presidency or when the charts are updated for 2009, you will see exactly what the effects of an irresponsible government whose spending is out of control are. Like I said, boost the amount added to the debt and the deficits will be off the chart by $600 billion. All thanks to the clowns in control right now. Yes, hope and change. You will hope that your life is not drastically altered by these clowns. You will be left with change in your pocket.

And he perpetuates the lies about Obama's health care reform plan. Oh I am sorry... you apparently slept your way through 20th century American History 101, didn't you? As has been pointed out numerous times in these pages, with sourced material and links, FDR's policies made the Great Deppression, at best, no better in 1938 than it was in 1933 when he took office. In some respects his progressive policies and redistribution schemes made it worse before the world situation forced FDR to put the country and the economy on a total war footing starting in 1940... even though the nation was, at the time, under the spell of strict neutrality and isolationism. Go grab some TP, Mr. Misdirection. You are posting crap and I think you need to wipe yourself.

I can't recall any we have started. 1846 was the last War that California was directly involved in without being part of the United States. Since then, no other wars were engaged in that had California as one of the principle states in the war.

Sweet tea I was getting at... Spelling lapse What a difference a letter makes......thanks for the correction ;D Or the ability to extrapolate the meaning from the misspelling. I knew what he meant, even though he misspelled it, so did you. The difference, you used his misspelling to avoid any serious comments and instead acted more like a first grade teacher. But, we expect no less.
