60 thousand plus are gathered in front of the U.S. Capitol today. Those 60 thousand each represent at least another thousand who couldn't make the trip. Many thousands more are gathered locally at rallies in towns across America.
Naturally, FOX is all over it but how much coverage do you expect to see from MSNBC, CBS, NBC, CNN, sfgate, or the PD?
I don't expect to see much from them if any because this group of American patriots are demonstrating peacefully. No cars are being overturned, no rocks thrown, no windows smashed, no fires set, no violence, no traffic blocked, and no smelly hippies shouting obscenities and demanding more entitlements.
But that's okay because this is merely the beginning if the beginning of the second revolution. The first was fought against an outside enemy. This was must be fought against the enemy within.

Since Glenn Beck started the project, it makes sense that Fox would be the sole promoter covering it.

WOW! Mink had a chance to dismiss them as teabaggers or right wing loons or nazis and didn't take the bait. Maybe she is seeing that this isn't just a fringe group like what guides the left, but a true grassroots movement that is fueled by the hate and arrogance dished out by the left for the past 40 years.
I'm willing to bet the MSM is going to write if off as a few dozen malcontents.

You know subdjoe, I think it is a good thing for the country to always remember 9/11 and the loss we all suffered in whatever way they find. What I find repulsive and detrimental is when those who continue to use the day to wedge a division by insisting some folks are real patriots or real Americans and others are filled with hatred.

You mean like your leftist bretheren "Truthers" MINK? Or do you mean the more mainsteam leftists who lay all the blame on Pres. Bush for not acting on a rather nebulous threat (while in the next breath damning his admin for trying to raise the alert level on fairly credible intellegence)? Yeah, MINK, tell us all how much you hate "wedge issues" when you yourself revel in using them.

What I find repulsive and detrimental is when those who continue to use the day to wedge a division by insisting some folks are real patriots or real Americans and others are filled with hatred. this is how we know you don't pay attention. you just go on whatever your keepers feed you (moveon.org, msnbc, etc.). the 9-12 project actually has little to do with 9/11. the whole point is for people to remember how this country was united on 9/12. when people were standing in line to donate blood; when people were turning to their neighbors and saying, "how can i help"; when people were not afraid of expressing their patriotism. that feeling has been waning ever since 9/12. people have retreated back into their homes and become less involved. now it's time to get that feeling back again and get back in the game. if we sit around and do nothing, the crooks (congress, acorn, etc.) will gladly take advantage of we the people. what you are seeing now is a resurgence of people who are willing to come out of their homes and stand up for what is right. it wouldn't matter if bozo the clown was in the white house or even if republicans controlled congress (crooks are crooks). the people realize they are being taken for fools and they've had enough of it. this is what america really looks like, mink. get used to it.

TNG, if this project has such good intentions, why would Glenn Beck or yourself dare insult or behave in a condescending manner? That is not the American way. If the project is meant to unite the country, it is a good thing to include everyone kindly.
Everyone remembers the day of and the day after 9/11 where we were all Americans. We were all Americans prior to 9/11 and to this day.

Well, the message wasn't announced simply because only Fox news/Glenn Beck covered it- how exclusive.

you need to talk to MSNBC, CBS, ABC, etc. to find out why they chose not to mention it AT ALL. it's not like FOX has a monopoly on the airwaves. you just admitted that the MSM has an agenda. they will only show you what they think you should see. now you know why so many people have made the switch. they want a news outlet that will show them the good, bad, and ugly. not just the "approved" stuff. comcast channel 59. you should try it. your friends don't have to know.

Thanks, but no thanks. I checked this out on you tube and all this project is, is another mass tea party protest. In DC this weekend were signs that really were protesting reasonably, but then there were also many that took away from the 12 values by racial implications. Go figure, but then again, Glenn Beck and Fox are behind it.
America has much more to learn.....well, maybe in another 100 years, sigh.
edited to add:
The person who held a sign reading " bury Obamacare with Kennedy" is not a real American, BTW! That was tacky, disrespectful and downright inexcusable.
