What is that other organization? The new one that is anti Obama-care. I heard about it on the radio on Wednesday morning, but have forgotten the letters. Anybody know?

www.amac.us/amac-was-founded-to-be-your-alternative-to-aarp-2/Don't know how good they are or will be, and there may be more organizations that will take the place of AARP. Want to make a little personal protest against AARP? When you get those solicitations in the mail from AARP, stuff all the material back in the postage paid envelope and send it back to them. You feel better and you tell them how you feel about their stance with Obama and the Dims.

I've been sending them the empty pre-paid envelopes. I didn't want to return their propaganda for them to re mail again.

I've been sending them the empty pre-paid envelopes. I didn't want to return their propaganda for them to re mail again. Better idea is to write them a lovely message telling them how you feel about them selling out and backing Sambo. Then put everything back in the envelope and let them pay the postage. It does not matter if your name and info is sent back to them anyway....let's them know how YOU feel about what THEY are doing. No one needs an organization like AARP or any of the others anyway. Do your own research about insurance plans etc. As for discounts....AAA and other insurance companies allow you to get discounts at Hotels etc without paying "fee" to any agencies. My Aunt found out years ago that AARP donated to Democrats so she got out of AARP way back then. I never did join because of what she found out.

I'm sure that seniors are excited at the prospect of not having to pay top dollar for name-brand medications. This bill will make it a lot easier on them financially, just like Social Security has.

get real, santurelle. the only reason most "seniors" join aarp is for the discounts on travel, hotels, and grand slam breakfasts at denny's.

saunterelle, are you a "Senior"? If so, please explain your comment. We would really be interested how you arrived at that conclusion.
