Ah, yes, The Economists. The Brits never miss a chance to dump on a Republican administration in America. I seem to remember that we saved their butts, not once, but twice in the 20th Century, right? Three times if you count that Cold War thingee.......  If you want a well thought out thesis on the current state of how things are, try reading America Alone by Mark Steyn. It's absolutely brilliant and pushes the whole Euro-socialist line of bilge to the ash heap where it belongs. |

Steyn is irreplacable as an observer & commentator on so many issues.

His book (America Alone) should disabuse any but the most stalwart Socialists & appeasers of the notion that Old Europe has a future beyond that of vassal-state.
