since i won't be online for a few days i would like to wish everyone a wonderful thanksgiving. i hope that you all are able to share it with family and friends.

i have watched over the past few years that thanksgiving seems to be losing favor with many people other than as just a day off from work and eating a big meal. the stores now from halloween straight into Christmas like thanksgiving doesn't even exist.

i am thankful for many, many things in my life including my healthy family, an income, and a home. i am also thankful for those who toil day in and day out to ensure that we can live in peace and safety - military, police, firefighters, etc. i hope you all will take a moment to reflect on what you are thankful for. as americans, we are truly blessed to have what so many around the world don't have - liberty.

I have much to be thankful for too, healthy family, employment, loving home, good friends and community.
