What is wrong, dear lady, is the apparent lack of care and concern given to L'Affaire du Edwards by your friends in the mainstream press. That is what is really unacceptable. It was they, after all, who sat on the story for more than half a year, while Mr. Edwards was actively campaigning no less.

What's more disgusting would be America's paper of record, the New York Slimes, now contemplating going after John McCain on an unfounded rumor, when they never touched the Edwards story with even a ten foot pole.
