What about it Mink, aren't you just totally pissed off that Obama is such a big liar? Or are you willing to cast that aside and allow hypocrisy to dictate who you are? Or, do you honestly believe this leopard will change his spots once he achieves his goal?

And though I don't like Obama, I certainly do not condone what the Democratic Supporters of Hillary Clinton do. And they call us conservatives racist. Seems they are just looking in the mirror when they speak.

I would like to hear Obama explain why he thinks increasing taxes is a good thing, when you consider that federal taxes already consume 20.5 percent of our gross domestic product (GDP), a post-World War II record. When you add in state and local taxes, plus all the hidden taxes and fees we pay everyday, many people are already paying out 40 percent of their income to taxes. How much more blood do we have to give?

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your politcal persuasion, raising taxes is the disciplined roll Democrats have had to posture directly after an irresponsible Republican has lowered the economy and achieved nothing but a high national deficit.

I'll get to Mink's outlandish claims in a minute, but first, this just in: OK, class, pay attention here, because I will parse this for you. - fueled by contributions from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs
But, contributions from George Soros, the teachers' unions, SEIU and AFSCME are OK. Our special interests are better than your special interests.
- "allies" who will "spend millions and millions of dollars in unlimited donations"
The "millions and millions of dollars in unlimited donations" that MoveOn will spend, however, is OK.
- "We face opponents who've become masters at gaming this broken system."
Well, Senator, no one ever said politics is fair. In fact, the famous explanation says, "It ain't beanbag!"
I expect this to remain a major campaign issue, with profuse obfuscations coming from the Obama camp every day. Should be entertaining, at least.

Mink sez...
Bwaaaahhhaaaahaaaaahaaaaaaa! Unbelievable!
The Democrat Party has been synonymous with high taxes as far back as I can remember. The idea of it being a "disciplined roll" couldn't be further from the truth. If, in fact, the Democrats were going to play a "disciplined roll," their candidate would not be proposing billions and billions of dollars in new spending. He would, instead, be proposing that all revenue generated by his increased taxes (and you know it's coming) would be spent to pay down the national debt. That concept has been strangely missing from Obama's campaign speeches.
Even if Obama wanted to focus the revenues, which will never amount to what he forecasts them to be, on paying down the national debt, first he has to get it past Chuck Schumer, Carl Levin, Geroge Miller, Nancy Pelosi, Henry Waxman, and, if he lives, Ted Kennedy. Not a snowball's chance....
Let's focus now on the second half of your statement, where you allege that the Bush tax cuts have "lowered the economy and achieved nothing but a high national deficit." Except for the recent downturn in the mortgage market and the soaring world price of oil, the economy is going gangbusters. Unemployment has been low, productivity is at all-time highs,...shall I go on? The recession that The Left hoped and prayed for all year never materialized.
The real measure of the strength of the Bush economy is that we have been able to sustain the downturn in the mortgage market and the rise in the cost of oil without a widespread catastrophe. Gas is expensive, yes, but, as Ed Schultz, one of the commentators on AirAmerica said, "Tough luck! Use less!" Kinda hurts when it comes from one of your own, right?

Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your politcal persuasion, raising taxes is the disciplined roll Democrats have had to posture directly after an irresponsible Republican has lowered the economy and achieved nothing but a high national deficit. If raising taxes is the solution, then why are the Democrats talking another economic stimulus package? That makes no sense. Even John F. Kennedy understood that raising taxes to the levels your "disciplined" Democrats would is bad for the country. That is why his tax cuts were so large. Or don't you know your history? Also, how can you, in good conscience vote for Obama. You have been telling us for the last seven years how you can not support a president who is a liar. Now, with Obama lying again, and foregoing the public money as he promised, he is going to break the system. There is no way this will be an equal campaign. Anyone who votes for this liar, and claimed Bush lied and should be impeached, is a hypocrite, and is not even worthy of conversing with. Are you going to allow hypocrisy to define you after all your rants about Bush lies? Even when you know in advance that Obama is just as big a liar, or even bigger.
