Right, I guess we'll see when he faces off with McCain in the general election. In the primaries Obama was the opposite of "underhanded." He has a chance to restore dignity to our political process. After Karl Rove's disgusting tactics, Americans are sick of the dirty tricks.
TNG, what specifics in Obama's plan would not appeal to Americans after 8 years of Bush?

Hey, good to see that you like McCain! Yeah, McCain isn't underhanded, and he does have a dignity about him.
As for Barrys plan to 'fix' America, there is a lot to not like there. From his special set asides for professional victims, to expanding thought crimes, to destroying our industry and giving away our standard of living to other countries, to bringing eveyone down to the lowest common demonimator. The guy is pretty much one big buzz word. But I bet that HE won't drop down to using public transportation, setting his thermostat at 60 in the winter and 78 in the summer. He won;'t be wearing 'sustainably produced' cotton clothing, made by small businesses. Nor will his millionare friends. Somehow all these rich socialists never seem to get around to giving away their wealth and living at the level that they preach everyone should live at.

You want to see the face of Obama, read some Chicago newspaper articles about the man. How he runs a primary is not going to be indicative of how he runs his administration.

oh, one other thing - Barry just may hold a record for the number of times he has voted, "yeah, I'm here" rather than risk actually taking a stand on a vote that might be conroversial. Way to go, Barry!

Funniest part to me is this.
Remember when GWB ran the first time...what was one of the BIGGEST arguments from the left .... HIS LACK OF EXPERIENCE.
Teeeheee the SAME people who doubted GWB's expertise at running the USA due to "lack of experience" are the SAME people who today want you and I to vote for a 3 year Junior Senator.
How quickly they forget...

He has a chance to restore dignity to our political process. After Karl Rove's disgusting tactics, Americans are sick of the dirty tricks. "They" were sick of it after thingy Nixon, after LBJ, after FDR, after Grover friggin' Cleveland. You'd think that they'd have gotten more than a belly full of it after the days of the PI hiring, dirt digging, opposition research loving Clintons. But what about Senator Obama? He excoriated McCain just yesterday for doing a "no press allowed" fundraiser with the President. This would be the same Senator Obama who excludes the press from pretty much every fund raiser... such as the one here in California where he made his now infamous "bibles and guns" mis-step. Do as I say, not as I do sez the junior Senator from Illinois. It's called politics. It's a game of dirty tricks. If you are tired of them then the only solution is to get out of the business. Postscript... apparently there is a word monitor of some sort living in this board software. I typed the common contraction for Richard in front of Nixon above and it changed that word to "thingy". Now ain't that a kick in the head?

You mean the term "Tricky thingy" is not acceptable? Even though it is a proper name?
Interesting, guess Richard will have to do when you want to say Dick.
What about Dick Cheney, will they alter his name as well, even though that is what he goes by?

How about Johnson, will it alter that as well? After all, that is slang for penis as well.
