One of Senator Obama's surrogates was on Fox this morning trying to spin that the Senator actually supports our Amendment Two rights. It got a little testy when the surrogate was confronted with two different campaign questionaires that the Senator had answered (including one with handwritten margin notes by Mr. Obama himself) back in 90's when he was running for state office where he answered "yes" to the question; "do you support a ban on handguns?" The spin was that the Senator had not personally filled out the docs. Mmmmmm yeah, right. The sanator's dissembling on this issue, and those questionaires, is well documented. |

I think you may have hit a nail on the head with that answer he gave. Senators and Congressmen no longer do things for themselves, they have aides do it instead. It used to be Junior Senators and Congressman worked for their seniors from their state, but, not anymore. Now they just debate and leave all the rest to their aides.

NRA??? Why, Big Dog, you KNOW that the NRA is biased and twists things. You should get your information from a trusted source like the ACLU, VPC, or the Brady Campaign. they NEVER twist anything.

Why isn't McCain attacking Obama on his gun stance?
This would have gained him a point or two if he did this earlier.
America is generally a pro-gun country... historically candidates that are anti-gun have problems in national polls--especially when the subject is brought up in debates.
McCain is finally attacking Obama on socialism (wealth redistribution), but it is too little too late.
