I saw a safe, courteous bicyclist the other day! He used clear hand signals. At the stop lights he positioned himself in the lane of traffic for the left turns, and actually came to a full stop and put a foot down for stabiliy. He moved to the right, even when making his left turn so that automobile traffic could get past him safely. We had a nice, even though it was short, chat at the stop light. I leaned out and called out Thank you, to him. He said Thanks for noticing. If there were more like him there would not be the friction between motor vehicle drivers and bicyclists.

I can't believe it either! I actually saw/heard a bicyclist yell at parents in a car line "make your kids walk or ride their bikes to school you ---------" and for the life of me I can't remember the expletive word he used at the end, but it was offensive. Can you imagine swearing at parents at a elementary school?

That j-a$$ would have been spitting teeth with a bike rim twisted around his/her neck.

I like the new LED lights responsible bicyclists use nowdays. It really helps to see them on the roads.
