You're grasping at straws, Saunterelle. If you are ready to thoroughly discount the radical, racist pastor that Obama described as his mentor, then dragging up this piece of trash is a transparent partisan attack. Maybe you could focus on some issues, instead. |

There is no comparison between Palin having a respected Pastor pray for her, according to their church beliefs, and the bigotry preached by Reverend White.

Think of the African Pastor as a Lesbian Wiccan Transgendered womyn.
Imagine He/She/It called on the magic of Mother Gaia to cleanse Gov. Palin's eco-sustainable spirit and bond her with the soul of a fallen tree from the old-growth forest.
That should make this situation seem perfectly normal & acceptable to you.

Saunterelle, I saw this too. This is the preacher or pastor that palin is proud to say helped her become governor. I truly think this may be one of many reasons that mccain doesn't want her to talk to reporters! I hope they show where they speak in tongues.....  |

Well, I hate to do this but you harped on Obama for so long about his ex-pastor. No, I suspect you don't hate to do it at all. I suspect you rather much enjoy playing a typical leftist, identity politics game, rather than have any semblance of debate over the issues. It's so easy and requires absolutely no effort on your part. Olbermann's "analysis" goes completely off the tracks in his first breath when he trots out the McCarthy card. Maybe you hadn't heard this but Joe McCarthy, while an over indulgent and politically inept bully, actually was pretty correct. The fall of the Soviet Union and the opening of KGB archives has largely proven he was correct. He just wasn't a good messenger. Our government was indeed full of communists, and Soviet agents. So much for the "witch hunt" myth of the left. Olbermann's "analysis" goes farther into the ditch with each passing moment of video and is so flawed, and his partisanship so open, it does not merit comment. This all begs the question.... what are all you leftists afraid of? Could it be, at the end of the day, when it comes to Senator's Obama and Biden, that the clothes have no emperor? I don't know that I would go quite as far as Bolverk, but I think his description may be somewhere near the ball park. |
