London was the first major city to have almost total camera coverage.
They used it in tracking the suspect that left that satchel bomb in the Tube a few years back.
They also use face recognition software programs.
Seems the cameras would only upset those that are trying to hide something?

The presence of cameras in public places don't bother me at all. We give up the expectation of personal privacy when we leave our home/property. In this case, "Big Brother" can watch me all he wants, as long as he is watching those who may harm me (and others) as well.

Actually, when I'm out and about and watching my "P's and Q's" I find it somewhat comforting, knowing that I'm being watched over from evil doers...
And the evil doers knowing they are also being watched, too.
