There can be no denying the existence of evil and it's father is the Devil himself. The horror that has been happening all over the earth has increased a hundred-fold in recent months and some of that is evidenced right here in America. We cannot get our minds to accept the evil that happened at the school in Connecticut, and for good reason.....as a whole we are good people and when evil rears it's ugly head in such a manner as this, we beg for answers. There is only one answer.....the Devil is alive and angry because he knows his time is growing short. To deny his existence is to be willing to allow him to continue without protest.

May God provide comfort and strength to the families who lost their loved ones in such a horrible manner. Never fail to let those you love know how you feel and do it often because these things are going to increase as things get worse.

It's a shame with the destruction of the middle class, family values, and God what other out come is there? I've seen it yearly as I live almost next door to one of the best K to six grade school in town.

Kids don't walk to school any longer, they hardly ride bikes, but those SUV's cars are lined up up to three blocks from said elementary school, some parked, then you have a parent walking those little ones to and from school. Grand parents picking up family kids.

Now when did this all start, can one pin point a time period, maybe those latch key babies, got babysitters, after school. What caused that? It can't be inflation could it, that helped destroy the family.

A single parent just can't make it anymore. Need those food stamps, and depends. The king will increase that power bill so your dollar is even more worthless.

From personal experience I can pinpoint the time to sometime since my own kids were able to walk to and from school alone, walk to friend's houses and play until dark (or after), play alone or with neighborhood kids in our orchard where they could not be seen (but their giggles and conversations still drifted to the house).....that was in the late 70's in Sebastopol. Looking back at that time, I realize that it was not long after that when the drugs and violence started to creep into Santa Rosa and the general public denied there was a problem.

The police department created a "drug/gang task force" that scoured Santa Rosa and surrounding areas for information on the influx of gang members from the South, creating photo albums to show neighborhoods who to watch out for and try to prepare them for what was coming. Did people care? Did people get involved? Not so much. Most of them failed to show up at neighborhood meetings to listen to the presentations, and those that did pooh-poohed the very idea that gangs would come to Santa Rosa.....well, what do you think now Santa Rosa? Huh? You did not "see" it (even when evidence was shown to you), so it couldn't happen to such a nice place, right?

Same goes for recognizing Evil and it's origin. People deny Satan exists...and I expect those same people deny God exists.....all to their peril. To deny the existence is not only ignorance, it is foolish. How else can you prepare your family for what the world "offers" them unless you establish early-on that there are indeed forces that exert strong power over our minds and natural inclinations? How else can you help your kids prepare their minds and hearts to combat and overcome the unseen forces that stalk them day and night, whether in real time out on the street or in they more insidious and invasive stuff that violent movies, video games and a lot of today's "music" pushes into their faces even while inside their homes....where you think they are protected by you.

It's not easy, and it's not going to get any easier. Anyone who understands Bible prophesy knows and believes what is being spelled out for this time period on earth and can also learn what it takes to maintain your faith and hope, thus giving you the tools you need to help protect your loved ones.

It's also way beyond time for lawmakers to find ways to resolve the critical issue of the mentally ill who roam our streets without any controls to keep them from inflicting harm on those around them. Ask any family who has someone like that in their family and they will tell you the dark horror they live in without any help from law enforcement. LE has had their hands tied by those who have pushed for the "rights" of the mentally ill to walk free and commit mayhem on their fellow man or even themselves. Until/unless they actually carry out such horror, no one is allowed to constrain their "liberty" or "rights"....never mind the rights of others to be free of fear from them.

Time to change that. Time to monitor the human behind the gun, not the inanimate gun.

Every one of those who have perpetrated such horror have been proven to have a history if mental/emotional illness that others have noted and were helpless to do anything about. Time to face facts and work on restoring some of the laws that used to allow the containment/monitoring of individuals who are a danger to themselves as well as others....BEFORE they commit the INSANE acts that leave us asking "why"......

Good post, Joe. If more people stood on their own hind legs and decide to take some personal responsibility rather than count on the gub'mit to take care of every aspect of their lives. I know there are those that prefer such a way of life....they are the ones that would still be sucking mommy's teat if they could.

Obama is being pushed by the gun-grabbers who use every crisis they can as an excuse, so expect some more ranting and raving in the near future. Obama is bound to be planning some sneaky crap under the guise of "preventing future massacres". Yeah, that's sure to do the job.....NOT! If guns are taken away from the law-abiding, then the game is lost.

Up where I live, most everyone owns and uses firearms, so there is a very low crime rate. Not the same can be said for the cities that are mostly filled with Leftist Loons who expect the police to protect them. That is not possible of course. Never was. The police can only show up to write the report AFTER the tragedy.....now so more than ever with cutbacks in funding. Police forces are down to bare minimum, jails are letting out hundreds due to lack of funding.....it's not going to get any safer/better.

Better re-thing the gun-grabbing idea folks.
