Powell delivered one of the most eloquent, unscripted, intellectually honest endorsements I've ever heard: He has shored up the military vote for Obama and given him a huge lead in the polls. Eloquent... okay. Unscripted... you're kidding. Intellectually honest... yeah, I'm sure he probably believe that. Shored up the military vote for Obama.... you're high. Given him a huge lead in the polls... Any effect of the Powell endorsement wouldn't really weigh into the three day rolling averages until today, at the very earliest. But what are a few facts anyway? When the legend becomes fact, print the legend. |

apparently, you are having trouble with your eyes. did you not read my entire post? i didn't post on the issue because for me....... it wasn't a big deal. i'll say it again..... big whoop! any other questions? Ha-haaaa!! Oh yes it is a big deal and it hurts!!! I saw exactly what you posted TNG and if it wasn't a big deal, you wouldn't have been waiting for me to post it and admit it  Mccain needs his other endorsements and he'll never admit he would have loved to have Powell. Powell is good for Obama and the country. Although he is a Republican, he was never a neocon. so how's life out there in left field, mink? sometimes i wonder if you are really in the same universe as the rest of us. incoherence seems to be your thing these days. |

so now colin powell monitors the norcal debate club and my "crude insults" pushed him over the edge?
i'm proud of my team. my feet are firmly planted. i don't switch up according to the wind direction. it's called conviction and i wouldn't expect you to understand it.

I doubt Powell is switching party's. It's just like when Ronald Reagan ran for president, many Democrats voted for him, and they are considered Reagan Democrats. Powell has seen what is happening with his party and doesn't agree with the direction. He remains friends with Mccain, but disagrees with his campaign tactics and his economic answer/s. It is for the country and you can't get anymore patriotic that that. Simple

Another Republican has endorsed Obama. Scott McClellan is on Larry King tonight explaining why. Very interesting, and will more come around........it makes one wonder why they are choosing Obama over Mccain or maybe it is just common sense.

you seem awful concerned about a few borderline republicans throwing ther support toward obama but no mention of all the dems who support mccain.
McCain attracts 83% of Republicans while Obama is supported by 76% of Democrats .
