Mr. Obama has tapped Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm for his council of economic advisors on the transition team. This would be the same Governor Granholm who has, in her incumbency, raised taxes, grown government, reversed many of the reforms of her immediate predecessors taking the state in many respects 180 degrees away from the direction it was going and who has presided over a huge loss in private sector jobs and ridden the economy of her state into a deep ditch with her gas pedal foot pressed firmly to the floor. I'm sure the ideas that have made her such a stunning economic success in Michigan will be warmly received by Barack and the rest of the team.

I'm finding myself in a very difficult situation.
I'm employing thoughts that I really want President-elect Obama to fall flat on his face. That he fail so miserably that little doubt can be made that he was the worst possible person we could have elected to lead our country during these threatening times.
I find myself no different than those I ridiculed for wanting President Bush to fail in the War in Iraq thus endangering our troops.
Will President-elect Obama possess the character to lead our country and keep it strong or will his administration be one of talk, appeasement, and deferring to the United Nations?
I will take the high ground and wish that President-elect Obama can prevail and lead us through these difficult times.
Time will tell if I was right or wrong voting against him.

Ferrous, I'm in the same boat. The emotional part of me wants Barry to fall on his face. But, if he does our Republic may fail.
On the other hand, if his socialist policy of give aways, set-asides, and pandering to the one world government crowd doesn't fail, our Republic WILL fail.

I guess we have a conumdrum?
A no win situation for conservatives and/or contitutionalists.
Our country is now clearly in the hands of the progressives and again, only time will tell whether our Country survies as we know it.
Change is definitly on the horizon.
The only hope might lie in only Ginsberg and Stevens retiring while Obama is in the White House. If Souter goes, the court shifts to a majority left.
