The radio today was full of stories about that day 30 years ago. One phrase that came up over and over in every piece was "gay rights." Now this got me thinking. We have "gay rights" and "womens rights" and "latino rights" and "black rights" and "minority rights" and for all I know, left handed, red headed, transgendered whalers rights. All of these divisive "rights" are pushed by leftists, liberals, or progressives (hard to keep track of what they are calling themselves these days). And pidgeon-holing all these different groups is seen as a Good Thing by the progressives.
This puzzles me. First, why not just push to make sure that the State follows the letter of the Constitution and thereby insure ALL our rights for ALL citizens? Why set all these different groups at each others throats, and at the same time setting them against (evil) white males? Second, what would the progressives say about a "white rights" movement? Or a "mens rights" movement? I suspect that there would be an outcry the likes of which has never been seen in our Republic. "How DARE they (men or whites) push for SPECIAL treatment?"

silly joe. don't you know that DIVERSITY = DIVISION = DIVISIVE = DIVIDED?
the sad thing about the moscone, milk, and "gay rights" BS is that it really has nothing to do with gays or "gay rights" at all. there was never ANY evidence that white was out to kill milk because of his "gayness." but, conveniently enough he was gay and that provided the gays of SF another way to promote their agenda.
have you noticed that when a white male is killed/harmed/done wrong it is just a regular crime but when a black, woman, gay, eskimo, or transgendered whaler is done wrong it is automatically a "hate crime?"

Yeah, silly me. I forgot that divide and conquor is the lefts way. And only whites and Christians can be racist or bigoted. Read this: www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/384Yep, the ritualistic murder of that family was a robbery gone wrong and not a hate crime. Funny how that story didn't make the front page, isn't it?

After reading the story, one paragraph stands out like a sore thumb.
"It remains to be seen how our news media will deal with this horrific slaying. Will this brutal and sensational crime receive as much coverage as the Laci Peterson murder? Will this terrorist attack be treated with the same awe and fascination as the Kobe Bryant case? Will we have 24/7 legal analysis, breaking news, interviews, investigations, magazine racks filled with pictures of the slain, an absolute media frenzy? Or, will this gruesome event be glossed over, whitewashed and quickly forgotten for reasons of political correctness?"
Well, considering when this occurred, I think we can conclude that the "gruesome event" was just "glossed over, whitewashed and quickly forgotten for reasons of political correctness."

All my homosexual friends died in the 1980's. Nice guys, but they bought the "sex w/o consequences" lie from the 60's & it killed them all. Sad, yes, but I'm sure their grandmothers, had they been consulted, would have sharply disapproved. Maybe that tired, old morality had some value. The stodgy old grannies far outlived their liberated grandsons. Let us hope the wisdom of the elders makes a comeback. If not, alert the undertaker. He'll be a busy boy.

"Anonymousperson": I don't understand. Could you please explain to me what the "Gay Agenda" is?

You know, I'm sick of the LGBT Agenda and further, the special treatment and 'protected status' of certain groups of people in this country. African-American, Asian-American, Mexican-American, Gay Rights, Gay Pride, Gay marches, Rainbow Coalition, etc. etc.
Either you're straight up American or you're not. I know the left won't allow this to happen so why can't we have Anglo-American month, White Pride Days, etc? Again the left won't stand for it. I guess I should really be ashamed that I was born a White Christian Male. However, that's not going to happen. I'll just quietly keep my pride to myself so I don't offend hyphenated Americans or the LGBT's or the left in general.
