Saunterelle, are you saying that any corruption is OK as long as one is not a homophobe?

It's a stretch to try and connect Obama to this corruption. Many feel that Obama was a beacon of light because he was a "clean" politician in the dirty world of Chicago politics. This alibi is starting to unravel already. The Washington Post has this: So, The Obama was correct in saying that he had not spoken to Blago about the Senate appointment. Kinda reminds you of Clinton's verbal sparring over the definition of "is." This also puts The Obama's intervention into the Republic Door & Window issue into perspective.

No....no really it's not Saunterelle.
Read the links..do some research into Alexi and Rezko see how close they are to this. See how close barry is to them, you do know barry did have a horse in this race. She was just dq'd early....
Acting like officer bar'brady will get you nowhere.."nothing to see here"...

Just like Barack was palling around with terrorists, right? Come on. This guilt by association shtick is getting old. Obama was a Chicago politician, of course he had some shady associates. That's the who's who of Illinois politics.

I love this. We'll be back in power, shortly. 2 year mark and we're going to come roaring back in. You'll see.

The Dems have to fix what the Republicans broke and that is the bank on down (the usual inherited deficit), before they come back for the money.
Back on topic, today, this governor has been asked to resign, as he should.

The most important factor of BlagoGate is being overlooked here:
The federal prosecutor is Patrick Fitzgerald, the same prosecutor in the Valerie Plame case. Those of you who are paying attention will remember that Fitzgerald continued in his investigation for over a year when he already knew that there was no violation of the relevant code, and that Richard Armitage was the one who dropped Plame's name to Bob Novak. Fitzgerald didn't let up until he was able to trap Scooter Libby in a contradiction, and the liberals went wild, calling for Libby's scalp.
In this case, Fitzgerald pulled the plug on the investigation and went public before Blago could call in any of the markers that he (Da Guv) had out. If Fitzgerald had kept the investigation secret for one more month, who knows who he might have snagged?
Maybe that's what Fitzgerald was worried about......
