I'm hoping and crossing my fingers that they sell the PD. They're already talking about selling the Boston Globe.
It costs them $300 million a year just for operating costs of the NYT alone, and there's huge problem with the heirs. Only ONE of the younger gen heirs is working at a newspaper. The Oregonian. He's been called back to the NYT this last week.
Oh and his BIG story, wait for it, was that the sheriff of Portland, OR was having an affair. Need we say more about the Ochs-Sulzberger families and their HATRED for all police departments?
