I'm headed to South America over the holidays to spend some time with my wife's family. There's not much internet access where I'm going, so I look forward to coming back refreshed and ready to debate the important issues of the day.
I just want to take a moment to mention how much I appreciate this forum. It has given me a chance to test my long held beliefs against the "other side" and I will admit that I've partially shifted my views on some issues. Thanks to all of you who make this board what it is.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!

Have a great time saunterelle, and I look forward to hearing (reading) about your trip (I'm jealous).
To add: I always appreciate your opinions and respect that you don't back off even under pressure.

Tour was incredible. Leaving again end of January I will try to torment you all as much as possible in the meantime.

Thanks for the kind words. We had a great time, although it certainly reminded me how lucky I am to live in the US. Dilapidated roads, corrupt police, and polluted water were just a few of the things that presented a stark contrast to life in Sonoma County.
