even stevie wonder can see the double standard being used with the chosen one here.
although i'm sure that the obama team is doing everything short of hiring hit men (the clintons would have already gone there) to take out anyone who may be able to tie obama to any of this blagovich turmoil, i believe that in due time we will begin to learn that there were connections.
let's take a page out of the left's playbook and hold court and convict obama before the evidence arrives just like they were fond of doing over the last 8 years.

Just so we make this crystal clear regarding double standards, does this mean I get to defend Obama like the Republicans defended Bush?
Secondly, shouldn't we wait until Obama is in office before you trash him and I get to justify whatever it is you are waiting to trash?

Wrong, the last 8 years were painful for me (and the country).
Have fun!

Are you talking about the sub-5% unemployment that only recently changed? Or, the 2-4% quarterly GDP growth that the country suffered through? It's only been since mid-2007, when the Democrat-fostered subprime mortgage meltdown started to drag the economy down, that the constant bleatings from the Left of economic malaise finally started to occur. Yet, we have the circus of Henry Waxman and Barney Frank blaming Wall Street for the crisis that Congress created. Unbelievable.

The question remains, as The Big Dog pointed out...
Can Obama rise from the pool of shit, that is the Chicago political machine, and still remain squeaky clean?

Remember how Ronnie seemed to have a teflon coating to which nothing would stick? I think The Obama is a lot like him that way, his gift for gab will shield him.

It is my recollection that no one waited for Bush to get into office before they began debasing him.

Wrong, the last 8 years were painful for me (and the country). Have fun! If you can tell me what significant event happened on April 27, 1942 in regards to the President of the time signing laws, I will register as a Democrat. It is the single most painful event in the history of taxation, just to give you a hint.

Ronald Reagan almost single handedly undid all the damage done to this nation by one President some 48 years prior to his taking office.

I'm certainly not going to encourage you to change your party affiliation, but are you referring to FDR's speech to Congress? This speech is certainly a high point in FDR's socialist program for America. Which Democrat is willing to champion these ideas today?

Nope, though that speech was probably part of his attempt to pass what he wanted.
