over the past several days of continuous news reporting about the devastating floods in iowa, illinois, missouri, etc. i have noticed a few differences:
1. no one is blaming bush 2. no one is blaming FEMA 3. no one is whining about how the gov't needs to "get up off their asses and get down here" 4. no claims of racism are being issued 5. no one is looting or killing each other 6. there are no mayors like ray nagin sitting on their asses blaming everyone else for their ineptitude 7. no one is feeling "entitled" to or totally dependent upon gov't aid
are these just coincidental differences or is new orleans really a horse of a different color? (no pun intended)
