Did anyone go to the car show or the cruise on 4th St? I missed the show but made it downtown for the cruise. That evening was great. No trouble at all. Well there was was idiot jumping around and shouting like an idiot in the middle of the street. Him aside, I almost felt like I had been transported back in time.

you mean the father's day car show at julliard park? i stopped by there. some real nice rigs. a few pieces of crap, too. but all in all a nice little collection of muscle cars. my favorite was the orange road runner and the green '73 charger. MOPAR really had it together back then.

I saw the rides in the PD....nice. Windsor will have it's Peggy Sue car show I think in August. You're right, it does take you back in time. I appreciate all the work these car buffs put into their "baby's".

The actual show I was refering to was in the large open space/field on the west end of West college. I didn't make the show but did make the downtown cruise. I went to the Julliard Park show a few years ago and wasn't very impressed. Plus its in Julliard Park .

Subdjoe, why would I be offended? Women can appreciate cars and Monster trucks too.....No, I never went to a show, but watched on TV. Grave-digger..... Hey, my Mom let us loose at the fair so her and Dad could watch the destruction derby at the fair...yikes! The muscle cars when I was growing up are now some of the oldies. Do you think these little "low-rider" cars with the tires that have no tread will someday be in these shows??

LOL, I was gigging you about the waste of fuels and the green house gasses, MInk. My wife likes NASCAR and drag racing.
And, yeah, soem day those rice rockets will be classics some day. <sigh>

OMG!!! Just because I appreciate oldies or monster trucks doesn't mean I waste fuel or don't conserve. We all use gas and can't get around it unless we are.....who are those people in, is it Pennsylvania.....Quakers....oh, the ones who still live like they just arrived from England but they are present day. They use buggies and burn by candle light. LOL I plan all my trips around town to get the most for my tank, but yes I do appreciate classic cars, monster trucks and even nascar-Go Jeff Gordon!!

Amish and Mennonite Mink. Schismatic anabaptists from Germany, mostly. There are goodly sized communities of them in OH, IN, even around Chico, CA. Some around here, too.
