Digger, according to the news clip on these communities, they are runned by an association and I'm sure there is careful screening and tight rules for potential owners.
Windsor is also planning another mini mall closeby that will help the job market. With all this going up, I'm sure there will be sufficient patrol.

This is of course after they've sat in their truck beds at the dead-end smoking enough weed to get the whole street stoned.
Do you think they're out there right now?

Windsor has so many "Notice of intent to develop" signs all over the place.

I think it was in the paper months ago that a new mini mall is planned near or behind Home Depot. I've noticed all those notices too, so it looks like they may even create new roads to lesson traffic on Shiloh, that is my thought. I'm wondering if they will or have offered to buy some of those scattered homes in between???
Personally, I'd rather see a mini mall than a new residential area.

Ah yes, I do remember seeing this. It's called Shiloh Village isn't it? I remember it called for not only shops, but an apartment complex or condos or something similar.
Windsor is in need of some mid-level retail. The high-end boutiques on the town green don't generate much in the way of revenue I'm sure. I'd sure love to see some more useful shops go in over there like a market, barber shop, ATM, deli, etc. Other than my optometrist, there just isn't anything that draws my interest over there. We tried eating at the pizzaria but it was very bad. Mary's is much better. Just my two cents.

If Mary's is much better, that pizzeria must be exceptionally awful. The best meal I've ever had at any Mary's was adequate at best.

I've tried several different ones, over a long period of time. The food was "OK." Just OK. Stofffers frozen lasagna, and Safeway house brand frozen pizza are just as good. And a lot less expensive.

I was just excited about the new mall. I agree about mid-level retail as Town Green is ridiculous. I couldn't believe the little shoe shop they had. $200.00 for a pair of shoes? $35. for flip flops, it's no wonder she went out of business. I love the candy shop, health pharmacy, book store and KC's Grill, but most of it is not my cup of tea. I do like that Cavalier's Bakery moved in though. I haven't been to the new pizza place as I'm not much of a pizza fan anymore, but I love Mary's pastas. A nice deli would be nice, an art supply store, fish-n-chips, sporting goods and yes a barber shop for my boys......how I'd love to see a good old fashion outdoor movie theater move in, but I guess that is asking too much given the space.
