I purchased a leather couch, a leather chair, a glass coffee table, an entertainment center piece, and two paintings. When they delivered the furniture 75% of it was damaged, the leather couch, chair and coffee table.
This, along with the fact that they did not call me to let me know it would not be delivered on time. I found out when they failed to show up on the scheduled date. The delivery was two weeks late, after waiting two months because the product was on back order.
Then, they send the wrong material for repairs. I have to store huge boxes in my house. And after the repair guy comes, 50% of my purchase is still damaged, the leather couch and chair. This, a month after delivery.
The repairman told me that the repairs should have been sent to a shop, except for the coffee table leg. And that they sent all the wrong materials. I was pretty ticked at that point.
I called Ashley and told them they had seven days to replace my furniture or refund all my money without a restocking fee. The person told me they would call me back, and did not.
Today, the next day, I get a call from a different person. I told her she had six days left. She did not know that I called the day before, so they are not case noting their files. She spoke with her manager and the said they will replace the furniture, this will be four months after I paid for the items in full. I reluctantly accepted, after letting them know in an angry voice, with no cursing, exactly how I feel. And, pointing out that they would charge me a 30% restocking fee if I were the one making such mistakes, but I get nothing for piss poor customer service.
My advice. Never, ever do business with this organization. They do not know what side their bread is buttered on. When you spend nearly $3,000 on their products, they should do a much better job of customer service. This company is terrible, and treats it's customers like they are nothing. I will never spend another dime there.
