Today, Scott McClellan testified under oath at the House Judiciary Committee. www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/20/mcclellan.testimony/index.htmlHe looks stressed, but then again, coming clean while the current administration in question, is coming to an end, can't be the easiest endeavor. While Democrats thanked him for coming forward, Republicans didn't hide their disdain or implications of character doubt. Put simply, reaction, tells all. The American people deserve answers and it's about time! Maybe this will lead to nothing......but at least we can make some sense of the shenanigans (mildly worded) that clouds our country.

He looked stressed because he was, in part, talking out of his ass.
The American people always deserve answers. Unfortunately, in this situation, they are getting a pale substitute from someone who wasn't even in the room when the decisions were made and wasn't privy to any of the classified material.

Valerie Plame, a former covert agent that was currently driving a great big desk, sent her husband, an opponent of anything Pres. Bush said or did, to do a job for which he was unsuitable. Richard Armitage told that to Bob Novak. Scooter confirmed it. Howcum Armitage & Novak walked?
Chaney? Where? In secret? Hush-hush? Why is there never any hard evidence; just dark suspicion?
The "Plames" are a new legend for the left. Two martyrs hoist on the pillory of the Evil Bushitler cabal. They are the most shameless self-promoters since Jesse Jackson. Unthreatened; unharmed; made wealthy & chic by their oh-so-painful ordeal. And everybody in D.C. on the mid-level cocktail circuit knew she was CIA already-they both made sure of that 5 mins. after the third martini & an introduction!
Two more frauds paraded before a sympathetic media. Ho-hum. And that is why no-one cares. They already know the "truth".

My,my....no need to get get testy now. The Plames are Americans that had very responsible careers as they served their country.
The Plames are just part of this investigation, but it is a story in itself.
Who knows, maybe Bush/Cheney can write their own memoirs behind bars~

Wrong again. They are & were hacks serving their own interests first; convinced that they knew better than the duly elected President in matters concerning national security & war. Another "ends justifying means" from two '60's crusaders. Fed agencies are full of these types. Of course, now they are heroes; standing tall against tyrants like Cheney. Spare me please, I just ate.

Harpman, it is mostly a popularity contest. If you exalt someone it adds to their karma points. If you smite, it takes away. You can only do it once an hour.
Now, just what the karma points do or mean, I have no idea.

Groovy; thanks. Now how do I add a cool pic like yours to my posts? And what's with the blue & gold stars?
I know, I know; who is this knucklehead?
I'm on the old-guy program.
