Let's see, I lost my job in November and run the chance of losing my house if I can't make payments. By her way of thinking, I should just set up shop on my website and ask for donations so I can keep food in my kids mouths. Or I could keep looking for work and have the satisfaction that I'm helping my family by teaching my kids to be self reliant and have a good work ethic. Guess no one taught her that one.

Hey, Digger, why not do BOTH? I see nothing wrong with someone in your situation setting up a web page and asking for donations. There are a lot of charitable people out there. You might even get a job out of it if you tell your story right.
Seriously - what do you have to loose?

This jackass woman:
** Is receiving AFDC for the first six ** Is on general assistance ** Is receiving SSDI for three of the first six that have disabilities ** Is sticking the taxpayer with bills for the octuplets as the hospital has already made an initial claim to Medi-Cal for reimbursement
And she has the balls to put up a web site asking for donations for something she, herself, quite foolishly chose to do....... and doubtlessly some suckers out there have already lined up to donate.
Amazing world we live in. Amazingly assed up.
