every sunday there are CONFERENCES of millions (the vast majority of americans and many other nations) who believe in GOD. so how come YOU don't believe in GOD?

No, actually you are not leaving it to the experts. Because experts have already asserted that CO2 does not constitute a large portion of the Global Warming Gases. I have posted the figures on this site from a highly credible source. The man made contribution to total global warming gases is less then 1 percent. Did you not read the predictions by SCIENTISTS? I don't care what sort of fuzzy stats you come up with. The fact is, their predictions are based on solid scientific evidence. |

thanks for making my point. the reason i believe in God is called FAITH. i don't have any scientific proof to verify his existence just like you don't have and scientific proff to verify "global warming."
what you have is a bunch of scientific opinions about it. conveniently, you always fail to mention those scientists who's opinions fly in the face of your global warming claims.
the other difference between the two issues is that unlike you global warming nuts i'm not trying to force my belief in God upon you nor am i trying to control/regulate/tax your life base on it.
keep your damn global warming religion to yourself.

Nope, that isn't proof. That is an opinion piece in the Chron. Concensus is not science. Confrences are not science. Everything I have read on this is set up to cofirm the thesis rather than to test it. Show us something that uses the proper scientific method. It is a conference of SCIENTISTS presenting their findings, so yes, this conference is science. Because it was reported in the Chronicle is irrelevant. The conference happened and they are reporting the findings. Stop trying to skirt the issue. Just because you don't want to believe in something when the proof is right in front of your face doesn't mean you can make it not exist. How stubborn are you going to be on this issue before you come around to realize the truth: That humans are accelerating global climate change and it will have horrible repercussions that will affect millions around the world. America is the world's #2 polluter behind China. We must lead the charge to slow down climate change before it's too late. And there are thousands of scientists, mostly climatologists, who say the anthropogenic theory is bunk. Every study I have read that trumpets warming as being mostly man made has been set up to support that thesis, not to test it. I have seen this same type of thing over and over from the social engineers. They come up with a pet theory and then set up their test parameters to support it. They throw out any evidence that does not support the theory. Junk science, plain and simple. |

Don't take this as an insult but your explanation for why CO2 is not a greenhouse gas is incredibly simple. I will leave it to the experts, thousands of published scientists around the world, to figure out what the actual effects of unprecedented levels of CO2 in our atmosphere really are.Problem with that is that the current levels of CO2 are not unprecedented according to scientifically verified geological and archeological record. This is all published as well. And while you dismiss my statement as "incredibly simple", photosynthesis in green plants, the consumption of CO2 and release of O2 is very much proven science. And the geological and fossil record suggests that exponentially higher levels of atmospheric CO2 existed in past eons... and darned if the plant life didn't thrive in proportion. Again... according to the fossil record. Proven science. Care to insult our intelligence a bit more now? Thousands of "published scientists" relying on "computer models".... not real observational science, does not make "proven science". Yet you, the true believer, brook absolutely no dissent, alternative views or theory. And, at the end of the day, what you are preaching is "global warming theory". The more objective of the global warming crowd will at least admit that it what it is. And, here's some more high school science for you, the use of the word theory dictates that what is being presented is not proven science. Now you understand why so many of us out in the real world get nervous when you progressives come to power, what with the movement's checkered history of abuse of rights, socialist overmanagement and devolution into fascism time and again. Your very tone and rhetoric in these pages speaks volumes. |
