and al queda couldn't be happier.
to borrow a phrase from mink, "oh happy day." yes, indeed it will be for those who wish to return iraq to the hell hole it once was.
let's pray enough of those iraqi forces have taken their oaths seriously and are willing to hold the line against the iranian influence that's sure to come.

Actually, al queda must be terrified. They know that Obama is putting an end to our ridiculous was in Iraq and setting his sights on them. Remember they are centered in Afghanistan/Pakistan, not Iraq.

This is what happens when someone completely ignores the news that has been coming out of the Middle East for the past 5 years. al Qaeda told us, in their own writings and speeches, that they see the conflict in Iraq as the central front in their jihad against America. Look at it from their point of view: they don't have to travel over the ocean to kill Americans - the Americans are coming to them! Unfortunately, we brought the full force and firepower of our armed forces with us and we have been killing them methodically. After Obama pulls the American troops out, al Qaeda will rush back in and fight the Iraqi army and police force. God help those poor buggers, because Obama won't be able to send troops back in.

How gullible are you? Of course they say that because they want us to stay in Iraq while they plan their next attack on American soil from their safe haven caves in the hills of Afghanistan. It's time to make good on Bush's (failed) promise to root them out of their caves and bring them to justice.

Sounds great before you know it 100K men on the ground in Afghanistan. Hello LBJ II.....
And AT LEAST 30-50K will stay in Iraq, most likely for eternity, or as long as any of us lives. Just ask the 52K stationed in Germany.
Sounds like BHO , BS'ing all you gullable fools again..into acutally thinking he is making good on a BS campaign promise.

TNG, if Iraq is the hell hole, why did Bush go into Afghanistan directly after 9/11? If it is such a hell hole, why did Bush 41 not finish the job in Desert Storm? If Iraq is a hell hole, why did Rummy shake hands with Saddam in the 1980's?

If Iraq is a hell hole, why did Rummy shake hands with Saddam in the 1980's? 1. afghanistan was the sponsor of the al queda group that planned 9/11. 2. UN mandates called for the routing of iraqi forces from kuwait, not the toppling of saddam. 3. the enemy of my enemy is my friend. i hope you took copious notes. there will be a quiz tomorrow.

Yeah, Obama is waaaaay smarter on military affairs than anyone else. He is a military genius! [/sarcasm off]
Other than jello-brained liberals, who really believes Obama knows diddly about military operations?
Obama is joke. His only experience in life is being a "community organizer." What the hell is that suppose to prepare him for except being able to set up bingo night down at the community center? This guy is a rank amateur sitting in the office of the most important job in the world. A monkey would exhibit more intelligence than him. Yes, that's right, I said a damn monkey.

Nah, she's forgotten it already. I can't count the times we iterated those same points for her, in excruciating detail. If the woman just refuses to hear the truth, there's nothing we can do for her.

When we finally pull out of Iraq, someone (whether Al Queda or someone else) will rush in to fill the void left by the power vacuum. The temptation will just be to powerful.

We should have never gone into Iraq because that's not where Bin Ladin is hiding. They need to bring them home now. How can Bush send young people to die for no good reason?
I think the CIA should be able to get Bin Ladin that way less people will have to die innocently for an unworthy cause. War is not the way to beat them. It only costs lives in the long run.
