the national guard is finally pulling out of N.O. 3 1/2 years later, N.O. still can't pull it together. maybe it has something to do with reelecting the same worthless, racist mayor who helped screw it up in the first place. see article hereand who are the people most afraid of? each other? criminals? no, the corrupt police and gov't officials. |

Pouring more money into an already corrupt police force (and city/state gov't) will only provide opportunity for MORE corruption. Do you think with people like Ray Naygin and crooked cops that money is actually going to get to people in need? Ha! |

Chocolate City will never get better until they throw out bums like Nagin. 3 1/2 yars later Katrina "refugees" are still living on the public dole in hotels in Texas. I guess it doesn't matter too much because many of them were living on the public dole in N.O. too.
And as your video illustrates, Nagin is no different from Obama. They are both "talkers" who run away from responsibility.

How can we let these people still live in poverty even after all this time. The government needs to help them. the situation will only get worse if we don't help them. People there need jobs and new homes. With Obama now I think they can finally get to work fixing things there.

Jobs with the sweet retirement packages that people are paying for in higher taxes. Jobs are created by investors and entrepreneurs, not government. And, just so you know, an actual entrepreneurial business man asked Vice President Slow Joe Biden how the Economic Stimulus plan was going to help him. Joe Biden's answer, the bridge we build will bring people to your business. In other words, or more succinctly, "there is no money in the Stimulus Package for small business. We were just paying off the people that helped get us in office." I have a new name for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act or ARRA, I call it Another Rectal Reaming Again. The people in this country did not learn one thing from the Great Depression. That is why we are traveling down the same failed, badly built road, and unemployment continues to rise. Just like the failed government of California is doing to this State. You don't need to look any further then here to see what the Federal outcome is going to be in a government controlled by Democrats. |

It must be difficult for you to accept that a Republican Governor is doing in his State right now what no other State or Obama can accomplish. Stem the tide of unemployment. It stings, doesn't it. One living example the shows Obama does not have clue one about our economy. And, that having a President that has no experience is going to be a rougher ride then you folks who elected him realized. |
