"a picture is worth a thousand words"........
The pictures in this article do not reflect the words of the writer at all. As in England with her Majesty, the Obamas are well received in France.

Okay really. You take a really bad picture of Michelle, who is a pretty decent looking woman normally, and a glamour shot of the french babe, who - remeber what this means - is a french woman after all! I'm not going to pick france in this one. Of course I didn't read the article, but the pictures got me laughing out loud so...

Yellow Journalism was defined in 1776 in that Northern colony. Meaning selecting data and presentation (all public data was written print press but now includes digital) to tell a half-truth without telling all the truth. Satire is just that. Nothing wrong with poking fun. Poking fun is not empirical climate data, so to speak.
The core to this is what most Nations people think of the USA. The first litmus test is 1938. The second litmus is 1945, third 1955, fourth 1965 etc. What will be discovered is they only like us commensurate with the gifts that we give out. Money is their best liked gift. Trade in their favor is the second. The third was displayed in 1991. In 1863 there were EU vultures circling the battlefields of our great blood test of Constitutional values.
There is no competitive nations productivity, straight across the GDP, that can run the 4 minute mile with America. In order to be economically competitive, we the Americans must stop being so productive - innovative. Other wise their economy will fail-tied to excessive entitlement handouts (today).
China has found a way to reverse the 200 year trend (they have been suicidal for 1000 yr), cheap labor means CHEAP prices(to America). Their method is a garbage bag of political concepts that solidly embraces Fascism with the core political value of Lenin. What about America does China like?

Hmmm....Crossride, that photo of "the french babe" looks like it was snapped at a meeting of some sort, look at the background. Plus, looks like no or minimal make up, no hair styling. Hardly a glamor shot. And, to me anyway, Mrs. The One always looks a bit like a pitbull on meth. Spooky. Even in that shot by her own publicity people when she is heavily made up an dressed to the nines. Yeah, caught her in a "You better listen to me young man" look, but still...
(waits for Mink or Saunterelle to bash him as a racist for using a perfectly good word in context)

Okay, as a single guy... well I shall refrain from comment. But how can I REALLY judge fairly without an equivalent pose from M.O.?
