when is barry going to do something about somali pirates?
is he waiting for a poll to be conducted of likely voters?
his sec'y of state thinks it's a laughing matter and barry won't even make a statement on the issue.
what's even sadder is that the other day the FRENCH of all people pulled of a heroic rescue of a pirated yacht.
wow, letting the FRENCH school you on military operations. now that's pathetic.

Shiver me timbers!
I do hope the US warships make some war on these Muslim terrorists.
Then we can turn Somalia into a new test-firing range.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, that's a funny question! I bet those pirates are shaking in their skivvies! Remember that Billy "BJ" Clinton sent the Rangers into Mogadishu and pulled them out as soon as it got a little tough. The presence of U.S. warships doesn't mean shit if you ain't got the balls to use them for what they're made for!!! This whole incident could have been thwarted if that cargo ship was carrying a crew from the eeeeeeevil Blackwater or other security contractor. Those anorexic morons would have been eliminated before reaching the gunwales of that ship. But noooooooo. We don't want to have a reputation for protection our property, interests, and citizens. Hell no, we'd rather that people like us. Dumb dumb dumb. Just remember you voted for this numbskull in the White House, not me.

Not up to Barry anyway. OUr congressional leadership again has its collective(ist) heads up its collective(ist) ass.
See Art 1, Sec 8 of the Constituiton. Congrss has power to police the seas in cases of piracy, and to grant letters of marque and reprisal. Lets get some armed merchentmen (I'm sure the Navy can spare a few 5" 38s to put on US flagged vessels) and take care of the problem. Stop f**k**g around, do the job that everyone except the people in office see needs to be done. Any pirates that are captured alive should be tried right then and there at a captains mast, per the jus gentium laws of the open sea, and then hanged by the neck until dead. Period.

For what it's worth, Obama gave the order to shoot, and now it's done! Further more, 12-16 Navy ships per 1,000,000 miles of ocean, what do you want? Door to door limo service? Our military is stretched WAY too thin, don't you all think?!
Sorry, but I give Obama credit to order the deaths of the three men, sort of discounts the idea that he doesn't have the balls...

i give him some credit for giving the green light, finally. i don't doubt that it took some prodding from high ranking officials who know what's good for America.
military too thin? not at all. even fighting two wars we are able to project power anywhre on the planet within hours. that's a fact, jack.

Yes, I agree our military is stretched too thin. Piracy will need to be addressed in the international community to avoid future hijackings, especially since they have expressed revenge.
