 Whoo-eee!!! Where is it?,Pittsburg?, won't prosecute small time offenses such as Burglary and maybe Sexual Offenses? Anyway, there are more Cities also talking about not prosecuting misdemeaner offenses. There is anarchy in the streets, and now they won't prosecute some people for breaking some real serious Laws. Hang on to your guns. Don't let "Them" take them away. Is Vigilante Justice not too far away?

Thanks for the link subdjoe. I really can't see how this solves any problem without causing more and costing way more in the long run. I say they better go back to the drawing board.....next!

This recession is affecting the country, not just Contra Costa Co, so blaming the Dems for "running" the state, holds no water.
There has to be a better solution than letting crime run amuck.
I heard on the news someone in the Contra Costa co office gave up partial pay and others resigned so they would have the money to hire temp prosecutors until the end of this year. This will give them some time to figure it out.

Hey subdjoe, we can not blame the Democrats for the fiscal crisis that they created in this state. So what is the purpose of even having the conversation if you can't blame the people who caused the problems?
Like I said before, Marx was right about people like Mink. He called them "useful idiots" because they were so uninformed, so dense, they would argue in favor of the very repression created by the people they support. History is replete with Americans who fall for such idiocy, flocking to their deaths or showering praises upon the very people who perpetrated the deaths of anywhere from 10's of thousands to 10's of millions of people who only held an alternate philosophy.
