Why is it foolish? Accurate, considering the totality of his comments. Don't blame Mink for her ignorance. She is so used to being fed the party line that she does not realize that most of what is said by saunterelle and most of what he supports in terms of the War on Terror is in reality supporting the enemy. They claim to support the war on terror. But, you can't make terrorist uncomfortable or fearful with waterboarding to get information. You can't use the word terrorist to describe them. You can't keep them in a prison out side of our country for our protection. Etc., etc., etc. It is easy to see why Mink is so confused. In order to support the war on terror she needs a thousand caveots. For her, keeping tens of thousands of Americans safe means not being mean to the terrorists. After all, we create terrorists by punishing them, waterboarding them, putting them in Guantanimo with access to lawyers and human rights groups. America is the sole cause of terrorism, next to Israel of course, who has the audacity to be the only successful country in the Middle East and gives equal rights to women. Their terrorist activities, according to the dogma Mink follows, has nothing to do with any of the reasons I posted. |
