I watched a news video on this story. It's pretty hilarious. The only thing I find fault with it that the store owner armed himself with a Hi Point carbine, which is a well known POS, yet is still an eeeeee-vil "assault weapon" in California.
However because of New York's even worse gun laws it was probably all the guy could purchase without having to jump 500 hurdles, instead of just a hundred.
