I've got the windows open. I can breathe again without air purifiers going 24/7.
Did I mention my PGE bill? Over $300. Usually it's $200 tops. But what could I do? I needed the air purifiers on 24/7 or else I'd feel sick and couldn't really do anything.
All the windows are open airing out the place from the leftover smoke. A friend from SF was teasing me "you moved out to the country for fresh air....lol, and we have cleaner air than you!"
Oh and the a/c. I froze a lot in here too, but I need the a/c on & the air purifiers. Hope the fires clear up soon. Tonight I walked to the store and noticed some fog/mist droplets.
So, hopefully it will help.

Bummer. Why do you live here if you could benefit more from a cooler and moister climate?

So long as CalFIRE keeps up the good fight, there are no new lightning strikes or idiots doing foolish things with fire or sparks in a fuel rich environment, we ought to be a lot better.
It was rather misty this morning. Acutally had to run the wipers a bit.

It is nice to be able to breathe again and see the sky....last week with the high temperatures and smoke really tested some people, health wise and temperament. I don't have AC at home, so I have to resort to open windows at night, oscillating fans and dressing comfortably, eating lightly....etc (but did I get a great tan)
