Good! About time citizens stopped buying into the lefts culture of victimhood.
Did you note this line: "Authorities said a group of the vigilantes physically restrained Carrasquillo until police arrived. He was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was treated for multiple injuries". While I have no problem with the word vigilante (meanes one who watches - the old Roman fire watch/police were 'vigilantes" too.), today it has become a word with negative conotations, which I'm sure is what the person who wrote the story wanted to convey - a lawless mob.

I don't know what the writer would be saying... it sure doesn't sound like a lawless mob to me.

Does anyone remember the story, some years ago, about a "Town Bully" who had everyone in town scared as the bully did as he pleased. Well, a fairly large group of townspeople caught the bully sitting in a pickup with a lady passenger. The group all had brought their rifles and opened fire on the bully.
Killed him daid. Never harmed the Lady. No one could be identified as the Killer. It may have been made into a movie?
