Betcha I could make it work in 2 seconds flat.
Next; the scoop-proof spoon.

LOL, oh man, stab proof knives are not leathal. What a joke. I could kill any man with anyone of those knives, in less then 15 minutes and long before medical help arrived. It is called the femoral artery or the carotid artery. Both are easily slashed with a blade and both are leathal.
However, in the article it states, "It can never be a totally safe knife, but the idea is you can’t inflict a fatal wound," he said. "Nobody could just grab one out of the kitchen drawer and kill someone."
I would sue the crap out of them if I had to use one of these to defend myself in my own home. But, self-defense will be illegal soon anyway.

Anyone who's been trained knows that a knife is much more lethal when it's used to slash, as opposed to stab.

Actually, it kills much more quickly when you stab. If I were to stab you directly in the heart or brain you would likely die in seconds. A slash can kill in anywhere from five to fifteen minutes, depending on the artery slashed. We are trained to know this because a stab will make you safer quicker, because a person who has been slashed can continue to fight.

I'd still shoot someone who came at with one.

I wonder when they will outlaw glass bottles. After all, grab one by the neck, break off the bottom, and you have a nasty dagger.

Far too many people have suffered paper cuts. Paper should be banned also.

After all, Mythbusters proved that with newspaper and underwear you can make a somewhat effective crossbow. Maybe, but the ban everything that MAY hurt someone crowd wouldn't even want a device that caused paper cuts.
