"I'm not going to touch the Jesus thing..."
of course, it's more convenient to ignore it, right? you don't need to answer. you know what Jesus would say.

Sure, depending on which interpretation you choose to listen to... Besides, in some religions all can be forgiven in the end anyway if you say the magic words.

There needs to be true repentance, which usually means an intent to change or eliminate that behaviour.

TNG, I am not going to elaborate out of respect for others including you. You might try reading the Newsweek link I'd posted and read the comment section, people are so kind .

Good points crossride.
jgaffney, I'm not currently interested in a GNC Honda. A plug in Prius will do just fine for the time being.

Plug in automobiles cause global warming. They derive their electricity from coal fired and fuel fired power plants. Stick that in your tank and burn it.

I support the nuclear alternative, an option Obama is open to as well.

I could care less about what Obama is open to.
But, I would like to talk electric cars. Do you know why the electric car has never been a viable option in this country? I bet you don't.

You should care about what Obama is open to because he will soon be our next President. Why don't you enlighten me as to why electric cars are not viable? My understanding is that the technology is here (and GM's EV1 proved it can work). The average driving distance of Americans in a day is 30 miles or less and 90% of Americans could use electric cars in their daily commute. Battery technology now allows an electric car to travel 300 miles on a single charge.

I support the nuclear alternative as well, as it relates to Iran.
Barack the Merciful has some magic words, too.
Higher taxes.
Less America.
More Spanish.
Fantasy energy.
Obey.
Obey.
Obey.

Obey, obey, obey? You've got it backwards. Obama is trying to involve America in the discussion. He promotes transparency in government, not obey, obey, obey. I'd argue that Bush's fear mongering and demand for blind patriotism after 9-11 is what allowed us to get suckered into the quagmire / money pit that Iraq turned out to be. And now you want to nuke Iran? Good luck with that one!

Michelle Hussein Obama " Barack is not going to allow you to go back to your old lives"
Obey?.
